I have a 96 ducato 2,5td m/home which will cruise all day at 60mph,there is plenty of power getting up to 60, but will not go much faster, I am happy to go at this speed but you need more power when over-taking lorries it is like it is governed to 60,

First thing is to check if your throttle cable is slack, with the mechanical pumps you can increase the power easily enough by rotating the fuel pin, tunring up the fuel screw and smoke screws. Need to know what you're doing though should be easy to find someone to adjust it for you.

I had no luck trying to find someone to adjust my 2002 1.9TD. All the places I contacted said "no can do". If you know anyone near Cambridge who can do it I'd very much like to know.
