Hi
The glove box catch has failed on my 2008 Ducato. Does any one no where I can buy a new one or good second hand.Have had quotes for a replacement complete door at £90-£100.The catch can be unscrewed from the door by 4 screws only this part needs replacing.

An update to my above posting. This morning I rang my local Fiat dealer (Greys of Warwick) asking for the price of a replacement glove box catch only to be told that its not available.!!
They will only sell the complete glove box subassembly at the astronomic price of £178........this is a complete rip of by Fiat. Any one got any ideas how to get a cheap replacement.??

I have bought second hand ones and all mine are now broken
the price is scandalous for this item
but van is still a GEM

Thanks for the Tip for the Ducato X250 Glove Boxes , I have just ordered a pair of Catches , if they work I will order another pair for the Other Glove box , Both Catches are gone for the Second time ,
The locked Catch is interchangeable with the no Locked on the Other Cubbey hole
I love the Van and would like to buy a 3.0 180 Hp Version but these little niggles kinda put me off
still got 270000 Km on mine and Can Get over 1000 Km to a tank of Juice
Still on Standard Clutch , but the Clutch Slave Servo is giving Trouble

Small complaints for that kind of mileage, slave cylinder is about €30-€50 euro on ebay

if I am not mistaken it is a gearbox out job to change the Slave Cylinder
I Got the Gearbox Bearings replaced about a year ago by Cork gearbox and at that time the Clutch Slave started giving problems

No I have probably bled it about 50 times , it loses pressure once the pedel is in the up position , in the half way position it retains pressure if you could keep it there , it gets a bit frantic after a long motorway spin and you forget about it ?

Bummer, box out so how much did the cork gearbox center charge you for doing the bearings.
