Just a note to anyone who owns a 2006-2011 Fiat Ducato X250.

I have spent alot of time searching for a fully capable diagnostics tool, and was left frustrated when I found that the multi scan (Fiat scan) did not list the injection system as compatable on their web site, it could very well be, but I didn't want to take that chance, so I took the risk on on a Lexia 3, a tool that is listed as being compatable with all citroens and peugeots after 1996 with two exceptions.

I am glad to say that with the addition of converter for the Boxer 3 and Jumper 3 that it worked. The seller included an extra CD with the full program, upgraded and ready to go.

It's worth noting that to use the lexia 3 with my Ducato I had to set the software up for a Peugeot Boxer 3, all very straight forward.

Anyone looking for one should take a look on ebay, mine cost about £75 for the lexia 3 and £25 for the converter, (listed as S.1279 module).

Lexia is a great tool to have, could you list the seller you bought from, there are a load of dodgy clones around. My own has a dodgy ram chip and only work about 1 in 10 times you plug it in. What firmware version is on it?

Any idea if the Lexia 3 works on 244 2.8jtd engines (<2006) or do you have to use the Multicuscan software because it isn't fully OBD11 compatible?
Tried the Multicuscan but lots of the actuator functions don't work but will read and clear fault codes ok.
Think Ponury73 is on hols - nothing listed on ebay at present.
Always useful to know what works and what doesn't!

Lexia works great with it, worth getting one froma reputable supplier though, mine has dodgy ram only starts up one in 10 times.
