I have managed to break a heavy duty chain wrench trying to remove the oil filter! I'm pretty sure the garage last year didn't change it, or the mechanic has superglued it in place! :bang:

Firstly, does it undo as normal, ie anti-clockwise?
Secondly, any hints and tips to make this less painfull?

As an update, incase anyone has problems in the future.

It unscrews as normal. Mine had rusted and as suspected had not been changed on the last service. It is best to jack up the front and get a large pair of grips on it for leveridge. Oil or PTFE the thread to make life easier during the next service!
