i have a 2007 ducato 120 multijet 2.3jtd, im looking for any advice/ person, able to bypass the immobliser, to start the van, im planning to fit a thatchem 1 alarm once done.
my problem started when the keycode light came on the dashboard, fiat have a long list of possibilitys for for it, starting at £70 and ending at £2500, and told it could be a combination of more than one.
any advice will be appreciated:eek:

I think thats edc16c39 ecu whichvshould be no problem for local auto locksmith just call around and tell them you need edc16 immo off.

It might be as simple as resyncing keys though before you go to exremes.

Many Thanks for the reply, Is the key syncing a fiat only job? there has a small 'peeping' sound started when locking the van, that has only started since van has 'given up'
im wondering if thats part of it?
what kind of price am i looking at for the bypass and/ or key syncing?

If you remove the ecu and post if off for bypass probably under 80 quid theres a guy on this frum that does that kind of thing if you want to pm him

Resyncing keys should be able to be done by any auto locksmith or indie garage with professional diagnostics gear mightvhave that function depending on their gear.

If your feeling adventurous citroen lexia would probably do it too as thevrelay boxer and ducato are basically the same although i haven't tried on the 2006 model onward so can't guarantee. you can buy clones of the citroen very cheap

I've contacted Member but we need BDM software to perform the immobiliser bypass within the ecu, if anybody has this, let me know please.
Is there an emergency fuel cutoff switch/ reset switch on this model?
Does anybody know if the immobiliser ultimately stops the fuel in the pump, or are there any other things it does.
Thanks guys
