Hope I've got it right as this is my first post. I picked up my 2002 Fiat Ducato Hymer Motorhome from storage this afternoon, which is about 8 miles from home, to prepare it for going away tomorrow (Fri 7th Oct). When I parked it outside the house, I noticed that all three left hand indicator lights - front, side and rear - were continuously illuminated (not flashing) even though the ignition was switched off. I thought I must have left the left indicators selected and this caused left side parking lights to illuminate. I hadn't and with the ignition switched back on, the left indicators remained on for all positions of the indicator stalk and nothing happened when I pressed on the hazard warning light switch. Does the fault lie with the flasher unit or elsewhere? Is there a quick fix that will allow us to get away tomorrow as planned? Is there a separate fuse for the indicator circuit that I can remove to prevent discharging the battery? If so which is it and where is it located? At the moment, I removed the left rear and side bulbs to prevent draining the battery but could not get the front bulb out before the light faded so I have disconnected the battery.
