Hallo All,

I am new at this forum, but I would like to ask if someone can help me with a copy of a Workshop manual of a fiat ducato 2.8.idTD 1999, or any web address or link where I can find this
thank you all very much in advance.

Axel

Thanks Davren for your quick replay , but download doesn't work
Is there somewhere else a possibility get this workshop manual downloaded, or cna somebody send a copie of the manual to me?

thanks,

Axel

Maybe I'm thick, but I've downloaded the file and expanded it into a folder, but I cant get it to run, I just get a pic of a red ducatto and nothing else

The download will open on windows explorer from disc. But it only gives advice on drives and electrics. Not any use for a dash or heating system. Cant get this outside of fiats £70 workshop manual.:bang:

Hi. Welcome to the FF.

Both dashboard and heating system are in the manual. Click on the "Procedures" tab at the top of the page then select the category you want to see.

Hi
The extracted files/folders need to be burnt to a CD & the installation files installed on your system from there with the CD still in the drive during access of the manual.
I am not sure if it will work from a virtual drive.
Cheers
Hi, I've successfully done this. Having burnt the CD I copied all the files into a folder, keeping the CD's file & folder structure, then changed the path in the desktop shortcut to point to the file GDIO.HTM in the folder.

elizabeth89 is correct that the manual will only work in Windows Internet Explorer. Right-click on the shortcut and choose "Open with" and select Internet Explorer from the list. You'll also have to tell Explorer to 'allow blocked content'.

Hi again,

As I said above I've downloaded this manual which appears to be correct for my model but it doesn't seem to cover my engine. My vehicle is an 02-plate Ducato 10 1.9TD, but according to my local Fiat franchise was actually built August 2001. The GD10 manual lists 1998Bz, 1997JTD, 2300JTD and 2800JTD.

Having only recently become acquainted with the Ducato range I don't know what engines were available for the D10 but I believe the JTDs are all common-rail engines whereas mine is an earlier direct-injection version, possibly a Peugeot, probably one of the last built with one.

I assume my engine is not the 1998Bz as this is obviously a nominal 2-Litre so can anyone shed some light on this and point me to a manual that covers my engine?

Thanks,
Mike.

I am looking for the manual too. It seems that it is not available in the download-section anymore. Is there any possibility for me to get it?

Just uploaded the Ducato 2002-2006 DTE workshop manual to the forum downloads section here: https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=23

You need to download all 4 parts to the same folder then point WinRar to part 1. That will unzip all 4 parts to create an image file named "DTE Manuale Tecnico D'officina - Fiat Ducato.iso" Use the image file to burn a CD then instal the DTE interface from the disc. That will create a DTE icon on your desktop. Double click the icon to run the program. The CD must be in the drive when using the program.

Hi Davren
I don't know who originally put the 94-02 name on this DTE manual but it does not cover any of the engines from the 230 model.
Davren, if possible can you update the models that this DTE Ducato version covers as it is not 1994 to 2002, it covers the "3" JTD engines (2.0, 2.3 & 2.8 JTD) from around 2001 ?? to 2006 & the 1998BZ petrol engine, the same engines as the 2002-2006 elearn only it uses the older type interface.
A WSM CD version for the 230 model 94-2000? has yet to be found although there are hardcopy versions around but none in english, (that I have found), some of these have been scanned into PDFs.
Cheers

This is getting too confusing. I don't know anything about the Ducato so what models, years and engines are there?

What model (X???) does the DTE manual I uploaded cover?
.

Hi Davren
The DTE manual covers the X244 model the same as the 02-06 elearn does, but it uses the "older" interface rather than the one all the eLearn versions do.
Hope that clears things up.
It does not have any info on the engines that were fitted to the X230 (94-01?) as in 1.9, 2.5, 2.8, & 2.8iTD & a 2.0 petrol? Although I wonder if there were crossover engines when they went from the 230 to the facelifted 244. As there are hardly any X230 models in OZ I m not great on the 230 models myself but that DTE Manual covers the 3 JTD engines & the 1998BZ petrol.
Hope that clears it up
Cheers

The 2.8jtd was available for the last 2 years of the x230, engine and electronics wise its essentially the same as the later one except, mechanical + electronic speedo drive, older code 1 immobiliser and the connections on the rail for injector pipes are 14mm instead of 12mm. I suppose the fuse boxes and loom may be different maybe the dte covers that.
