Hi folks... Bit of a newbie so be gentle....

First off I've had a good look around the search area, and I've tried to download the manual.... (it looks as though it's been removed).... No joy so now I'm going to call on someones good nature....

Recently bought an 05 swift kontiki.... With only 10k on the clock..
She runs as sweet as a nut and I'm over the moon with it.... But one thing has been bugging me, and that's the audio set up.... It still had the standard radio/CD....

So as I plan on doing lots of trips and I like my music, I thought something better was needed...

To that end I've bought a Phillips head unit with USB etc etc..

I've come to fit it, and some very kind person has seen fit to cut into the fiat harness, and fit a standard iso plug

This would be fine if they hadn't done a half arsed job and everything worked... But it doesn't...

Rear speakers don't work, and I have interference from the wipers.... Basically it needs ripping out and starting again....

What I'm struggling with is the Fiat wiring colours..... The audio harness on the vehicle is made up of (as best as I can see)

White
White/black
Red/black
Red/green
Pink/black
Yellow/black
Yellow/blue
Purple/black
Red
Black.....


A standard iso socket is
Speakers
Purple
Purple/black
Grey
Grey/black
White
White/black
Green
Green/black


Power
Red
Black
Yellow
Blue....


So as you can see a total missmatch


What I'm asking is...... Can anyone give me the functions of the top Fiat wiring codes??? Please please please:worship::worship:

This is the standard diagram. You should be able to work the colours out, the pin terminals are listed on the diagram (A7, A4, etc). The original Fiat plug fitted VDO/Phillips, Blaupunkt, etc.
