Hi, My 2007 3 litre van keeps popping up an engine light, the garage read the codes and it was the throttle control body. This has been replaced. Now I have a new problem. Occasionally, the van has no power; engine is still running and continues to drive, but put your foot down and it very slowly accelerates. Take the van out of gear, rev the engine, no problem at all, quick response to the pedal. Then after either 1-2 seconds or maybe 60 seconds, all returns to normal and off we go!
As soon as this occurs the engine management light comes on again. It happens with a full and empty fuel tank.
It has had new, fuel, air, oil filters, new oil, new coolant and derv flush all in the last 3000 miles.
It is as if someone nicked the turbo and then put it back.
Anyone any suggestions?
