2008 Ducato. Washers went from strong jet to streams of froth overnight. Bought new pump, no change, any suggestions including how to get the tank out. Thanks Des

Is there a filter in the bottle, my dads favourite solution is usually to blow back the line with a compressed air pistol works ok another year or two until all the crap solidifies again. Not too much pressure mind you you don't want to burst anything!

I've just had to sort out my washers for the MOT; my van is a 1998 so the arrangment may be different to yours, but after taking the washer motor off (not particularly easy) to check that it worked ok & the inlet filter wasn't blocked, I found the problem was in the (easily accessible) Y-piece that splits the water feed to the two jets.

This incorporated a oneway valve, the rubber of which had perished and jammed it up.

This also happened in 2010 but I got it working for that MOT by blowing down all the tubes. With an overcab body I find that I hardly ever need to use the washers apart from demonstrating them for MOT's ;)
