Is a Mk3 the 2.8 JTD to 2006? If so, the radio has to come out to get at the two screws holding the desk frame in place. I used a metal knitting needle of appropriate diameter, cut in half, each end sharpened to a round point and bent into a U shape. Use this in the holes to disengage the radio clips.
