Had a look at my non functioning wiper motor today. The brushes have worn down but the plastic brush holders have got hot & one has melted itself to the brush. Motor is a DENSO TGE 422L I need the brush hoder & brushes & I can then repair the motor (com is ok) Any Idea where I can purchase parts.Rather than pay for a complete motor

Hi thought I would answer my own question. Eventualy tracked down a replacement wiper motor. I noticed that the failed (burnt out motor) was looking almost new in comparison to the one I was about to fit. Alarm bells rang in my head & I decided to check the mechanism & found the reason for the motor failure. The passenger side wiper spline had seized in the housing & I guess explained why the motor failed.Looks like the wiper motor had been changed before but they did not investigate the cause.
I don;t know if its a common fault but if you loose the slower speed on the wipers & the fast setting just about functions, then check your wiper spindles for partial seisure before the motor is damaged.Mine was purchased at an auction so did not really check out the wipers untill I was driving the vehicle home.
