I don't go in for posing tackle, but I do like those plastic wheel trims because they hide a rusty wheel and are quicker to clean. Just got a great looking set from Wilkos, but when I tried them on I found the wheel bolts stick out too far for them to fit. (even after removing the existing central plastic trim) Fortunately Wilkos gave a full refund. But I thought it might be worth mentioning to anyone else who is considering getting wheeltrims.

You can get lucky, I once bought a set for £8 off a market stall which fitted my Talbot-based motorhome, but in general van wheels are too dished for car-style trims.

If you ever get to any of the Motorhome shows there are dealers selling the correct type (at about £25 a set:()

Thanks for the reply. But the only ones I have seen at motorhome dealers are those with imitation wheelnuts that look a bit silly to me, and defeat the object because they collect dirt. The ones at Wilkos would have been ideal because they are plain, with no dirt traps. The problem is that they are dished inwards slightly, and the X250 wheelbolts have big heads that stick out too far.

Hi i got a set forr my ducato on 16" wheels from wilko fitted ok.
Thanks for the reply. Is this the X250 (2006 on new shape) Ducato?
Could you please post a photo to show what sort they are?
I took a photo of one of the ones I bought before I took them back to Wilko. Although it looks to be fitted ok in the photo it is in fact sticking out about an inch - because the wheel bolts are preventing it going any further on to the wheel
