Quote from the Radio CD user manual -
"The waiting time will gradually increase ( 1min, 2min, 4min, 8min 16min, 30min, 1hr, 2hr, 4hr, 8hr, 16hr, 24hr) to a maximum time of 24hrs each time you enter the incorrect code.
The waiting time will be shown on the display along with the "WAIT" message.
You can start the code entry procedure once the message disappears from the display.
The word code will appear in the display for 2 sec followed by 4 dashes, the code consists of 4 digits from 1 to 6 each corresponding to one of the dashes. Enter the 4 digits from your "code card" by one of the preset station buttons 1-6. The code will appear again followed by the 4 dashes if it takes you longer than 20 secs to enter the complete code. This event is not considered wrong code entry by the system.
Suggest if you go through the above procedure & still end up with the "WAIT" it probably is the wrong code for your vehicle.
The Radio CD user manual can be downloaded in the downloads section if you don't have a hard copy. If you supply the serial No. etc Davren might get you the correct code if needed with a donation to the the forum.
