Hi thanks for looking we have an 08 ducato 100 multijet but only one ignition key no buttons, Fiat only want £200 for a new one (must be made from solid gold & a diamond chip) any info where to find one for less ££££

You could buy a used remote locking fob and reuse the transponder from the non remote locking key. Then you can get a plain key for a lot less that £200 as your spare.
At the moment the cheapest way for a spare is buying it from the dealer.
The chips in the 2008 key comes pre-coded from the dealer. There is another way to make keys for these but the dealer way is cheaper for a spare.
Hopefully there will be another cheaper solution for us autolocksmiths within the next 6 months. Fingers crossed.
