There's nothing wrong with it, I just need to get it out so I can install the wiring for a reversing camera.

There's a great thread on here that tells you how to remove the instrument cluster on a later model but mine is very different. There are two screws either side of the main cluster which I can get out easily - but then I can only move the clocks forward by a couple of inches - presumably because of the main cable.

Anyone got any Ideas and/or helpful diagrams please?:bang:

I'm mounting the monitor on top of the dash - centrally so it sits just to the left of the instrument cluster. So I need to be able to cable through to the reversing light switch on the gearbox otherwise it'll be on the whole time won't it?

On my JTD I could not find the connector under the dash to the reversing switch on the gearbox:bang: - unnecessary too(n). Wire the camera into a reversing light. The cables to the rear light clusters have headers under the dash, near the steering wheel.

And anyway, I have found its great to have the camera on all the time if it is aimed to the following traffic and not to the bumper bar.

Have a look at my link for some clues on one way to do it all.
