I've a Ducato based motorhome and have already saved time and money by following advice and suggestions on this forum. But I've searched all threads and have not seen anything about retro fitting air conditioning of these workhorses.

So there are Fiat parts (expensive) and aftermarket parts (needing adaptation perhaps) and parts from breakers yards.

So assuming...
I could get the parts, and I get the system gassed by a professional, what are your thoughts?

Worthwhile? Easy job as the chasis and fixings are already there?

Any comments and thoughts appreciated.

I looked at the same thing a few years ago and decided against it.
It was far more complicated and expensive than I expected.
This is a great site for motorhomers lots of useful info, free to try £10 if you decide to join and get access to the member’s part of the site, well worth the money.

You should look into the pod type one that sit on the top of lorrycabs.
Might get a secondhand one as there are load of them out there.
