Hi, Can anybody tell me what the component is that is fitted to the rear of the metal plate that is fitted inside the engine compartment in the middle hung from the windscreen scuttle? It looks like a solenoid of some description which is inserted between a T in the brake servo line and a diaphragm on the RH side of the engine. It has wiring which disaapears under the engine cover. This component is the egr electrovalve, it opens the egr valve via ocr control from the engine ecu. Hope this helps.
