Have to fit one. Just six bolts to tke one off and fit the replacement, or is there a catch. Is there a need to take the weight of the radiator etc before you drop the old cross member?

Comments please.

If the mounts up on top are in good condition they'll hold them . Just double check also that you get the exact same one , there's 2 types on the 95-02 van , one with the tow hook straight out , one with it pointing downwards .

just replaced one of these the trickiest bit was getting the bolt from the plastic cover off, the cross member hat rotted so badly that the captive nut was rusted on, but some releasing oil and brute force sorted it. that said the rest of the job was as easy as it sounds. I also got the part online for £80 instead of fiat's £158. I gave it a coat of paint prior to fitting to add to the protection of the primer.

did you have trouble with other bolts like bumper and the part what holds the wires and the clips i need them all got cross member of ebay 75 delivered just trying to get other bits help mines a 2004 2.3 fiat ducato motorhome

I did this job some years ago and I recollect that the radiator and all the other bits and bobs just clip in place in the cross member; the bumper is not attached to the cross member.

The manual suggests removing or supporting the radiator but I took a chance and left it hanging....
