Hi,
Just changed my Peugeot Boxer motorhome for a new Ducato X250 2.3 Multijet motorhome and after reading the handbook I can see that the service schedule is every 45000 Kilometres. However I cannot find any referance to a time limit. With it being a moterhome it would take many years to reach that figure. My old Boxer was every 2 years or 24000 miles.

Can someone tell me if this is Fiat's recomendation too.

Thanks
Stewart

My recommendation would be change the oil & filter once a year in a motorhome, Air filter every 12,000 miles, timing belt at every 4 years, and finally brake fluid every 2 years.

Any other items could theoretically be left to the 45k interval, although the MOT will pick up any other issues.

Unusual how nobody has come back with a time limit though?

I do believe that any trade body for motorhomes should have a department that writes up revised service schedules for them, duwe to their low use. This should be done in conjuction with the chassis manufacturer in order to prevent disagreement with warranty claims.

Hi

According to autodata the service intervals are every 28000 miles and 1 year.
On every service all filters must be changed, and timing belt and tensioner change every 112000 miles or 60 months.
Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies I did intend to change oil and filters myself at 12 months if Fiat's service schedule was every 24 months even though the mileage would be no where near the 28000. However as Fubar says its every 12 months it will have to go to Fiat or loose the warranty.

Thanks
Stewart
