Hi good people - I hope you will be able to help with my problem. I have searched the boards but come up with nothing so far. Sorry if this has been posted before but I did get back to page 18!

We have a Fiat Ducatto Maxi campervan conversion but are having problems with the back end as it were:eek:

The bit that lifts up the rear when the engine is started seems to be blowing the 20amp fuse that controls it:confused:

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Oh and can you keep it to words of one syllable as I am not the most techie minded when it comes to motor related 'stuff'

At a guess your converting an ex minibus or ambulance with air suspension. Is the fuse blowing instantly or after the compressor 'thing that lifts the back' is running for a while. Does the compressor keep running after the rear has reached correct ride height.

Problem seems to have sorted itself out - it is thought that damp from over wintering on the drive had got into the electrics and that was what kept blowing the fuse. Been away for the weekend with not a problem - now have several fuses in the glove box just in case ;)

Thanks for your help.
