Hello over the last couple of days my van ducato 100 mtj has been losing power. When i put my foot down on the excelerator nothing happens it dose not rev make any sound nothing the pedal feels normal this also happened as i am cornering in 2nd and 3rd gear.
Any ideas.

Accelerator is a fly by wire type. Could be the pedal but more than lightly the wiring, get any auto electrician to test it or measure the resistance yourself.
 
All-right, corkman the pedal feels normal. someone else said something like that as well. is there a name for this part or problem and can i check this my self or leave it a lone

Accellerator pedal potentiometer or "accelerator pedal sensor" in fiat diagnostics.

Its just like a volume control that indicates to the ecu the position of the accelerator pedal. Since its an intermittant problem it may be hard to test.

If its a low miles van most lightly culprit would be the wiring.
 
Had a load of these where the fuel pressure relief valve blows due to high pressure pump over pressuring. Hope this helps:)
