hi,we also have the same problem, if you can get to the broken cable via the dashboard( where the handle was/is you may be able to reach behind & pull it open as we did, when you get it open then tie a wire or something similar to the bonnet release clip(engine end) and leave it poking out of the bonnet when you close it until you can source a new one :bang:
