Hi, I am new to the forum, I have a 2000 jtd 2.8 motorhome and the fuel gauge reads full and the low level light is on. I have tried various things as follows, disconnect/reconnect batt. I was told to disconnect sender unit for 15 min with ing. on, done that. had clock's out and messed with wiring but to no avail. I suspect sender unit needs replacing but before I do so, I thought someone out there might have some ideas.

Thanks abafab

Yep, I'm the same. Seems there are more questions than answers to this common problem.
My 2000 Hobby 2.8i.jtd fuel gauge is now erratic. I have groped and rummaged about on top of the tank but can't quite reach the sender connections.
But in doing this the gauge stays accurate for a while. So guess this is where the problem lies.
Next step is to gain access to the sender connections.

Ray.
