| 1997 Ducato Van keys? This has probably been asked a few times but here we go, I have the original red key and 2 black keys. therefore i am assuming ALL keys are progammed for an immobiliser. and so if i copy another key blank from the BLACK keys they wont start the van. I ask this cos i want to install remote locking and like the folding keys.

| Re: 1997 Ducato Van keys? Hello, I'm no expert but if you want to copy and use a new key you need to buy chipped keys and I believe that once cut you can use the red key to programme the new key through the ignition.
