| Alternator Hi Can anyone tell me where the alternator is located on my 1999 FIAT 2.8TD engine. I have followed the wires from the starter directly to the battery but cannot see the alternator anywhere. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

| Re: Alternator Hi Just realised, my vehicle is a motor caravan and therefore the leads do not go from the alternator to the battery and starter but go to a split charge system. Therefore it is no use to follow the starter leads as in a conventional vehicle. Can anyone tell me where the alternator is located on the engine and also if I can get a wiring diagram for my split charge system? Any help any of you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
