2.8 jtd tuning

hi,i have a 2.8 jtd motorhome, i was looking to up the power from 127hp to whatever was possible with saftey. I am think about a piggyback type plug in . Does anybody recommend any type, The need for this is because it weighs nearly 4 tonnes, readey to roll, and on a flat road, you are wasting your time in 5th gear under 50mph, thanks

I would go for re-map, which is much more extensive than tuning box and in the long run safer for your kind of use.

Smile Re: 2.8 jtd tuning

Hi, i have fitted a TUNIT V-CR unit on my motorhome and im very impressed
with it. I fitted myself, it took about 30 mins. This device has 9 settings, giving approx. 5 hp per setting, increase. I have it set on the 5th setting, and the power and torque increase is felt straight away!!!!!
We did 107mls at the weekend and for pulling power, i would say we were up
1 gear higher than normal, and fuel consumption is improved by nearly 10 per
cent, very impressed, cheers!!
