can any one help me we have a fiat ducato 1990 2.5 diesel with no engine will a 1992 c25 2.5 diesel engine and gear box fit my camper both or none turbo thanks,be gratefull if you can give me some advise...tommy

Yes, basically it's the same power unit - the 'second generation' Ducato stable didn't come out till 1993. The turbo unit fits as well... if you can get one.

I'd be inclined to get hold of an older motor caravan intact or van (unlikely though/or v high mileage) as then you can ascertain what the engine/gearbox is like by running it/using it for a while - maybe a low mileage (60-70k) model with a poor body rather than buy just the power unit, even if from a reputable breaker! Better to know that all your hard work and expense won't be in vain!!
