Calling all good and true Doblo nuts:) . Can someone please advise me on the tightening sequence for the head bolts and the torque settings on the bolts:bang: Having cured the banging engine and identified the flashing warning light on the dash. I now need to take the head off to check for damaged valves. If anyone could let me know the torque settings on the cam bearing nuts as well I would be grateful. Looking forward to the ridicule and abuse for driving a chicken hutch:p

Sorry for the delay. This question was asked last year.
The torque settings are as follows:-
Cam cover M6 screw =1 (daNm)
Cylinder Head M12=6.5 +90*+90*+90* that is 90 degrees
Precombustion chamber Ring nut M35 =12

This information was taken off my electronic workshop manual.

Thanks for the info, i have had to strip the engine down to find that one of the big end shells has disintergrated and knackered the con rod. i will have to grind the crank and get hold of a single con rod, anyone any ideas.
