First time Fiat owner here!

Driven and owned many different vans over the years but never a Fiat of any description.

I bought a Doblo Cargo Multijet a couple of weeks ago purely for the purpose of transporting my drums and other musical gear to gigs in. Found a lovely little blue van (hence my name!) with just over 44000 miles on a 57 plate. Turns out the bloke I bought it from had bought it new and used it for exactly the same purpose as I intend to!!

Anyway, I don't want to bore you so the purpose of my post is, does anyone know of any decent reputable online breakers from which I could get spares?

The reason I ask is that, although the van is perfect in every way, the previous owner had cut the drivers seat fabric to remove some of the cushioning as he was quite short and found it uncomfortable to drive. As I'm six foot four I don't have the same problems as him and while it's not the end of the world I wouldn't mind replacing the drivers seat with a used (but clean) one.

Anyone got any links to any websites or breakers? I'm based in Buckinghamshire.

TIA

BVM.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I don't know your area and can't recommend a specific breaker. However a seat is not a very critical item apart from wear and cleanliness and you can tell those from photographs or inspection. I tend to use ebay for breakers these days as you get more choice. Look at photos an try not to get one from a badly crashed car. Seatbelt fittings etc can be swapped from the old one.

hi again..

 as you only have 2 x seats.. maybe get one of the often advertised 500 seat sets / pairs

these tend to be pretty reasonable.. especially in a private sale - rather than buying a seat from a specialist breaker

example..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-500-...131000?hash=item212787c8f8:g:WxEAAOSwlY1ZKvR0

or a bit further afield..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-500-...el:500&hash=item2cb15b5086:g:27cAAOSwtfhYnbXz

just a thought
