Recently purchased a Doble Eleganza "11"plate -- with only one key !
Tried local dealers - shocked at the quoted cost of a three button key - £295 !!!
Tried Timpsons and online sources to no avail
Popped into my local Key and shoe repair shop - success
The shop owner put my key into a gismo on his counter and confirmed that it was possible to copy
He cut the key in the shop and made an appointment to call at my house that evening to code the key - it took 15 mins
To cut the key and code it so that it would start the vehicle

£ 60

Good info however... if he cloned your original key then it would have already been paired to the car as its a clone

Some chips you cant clone then would need pairing to the car along with the immobiliser access code (to get into that protected area of the ecu).

Very handy to know. Where abouts in the country are you? and can you advise name of key cutter person please?
