Does anyone know the factory toe and camber settings for an '08 Doblo 1.9 jtd (105 hp)
I've had the car 4 years, I had all new tyres and alignment done 4 years ago, I do 12,000 km per year, the rear tyres are still like new, I've replaced the front set at 2 years (24k) and again this week.
The front tyre wear is drivers side inside edge smooth wear down to the limit bars and slight scrub on the passenger side outside edge, otherwise there is very little wear.
Drives straight, brakes straight, no pull, no vibration, wobbles or shakes, steering sits at 12 o clock. The car hasn't been kerbed or abused. I bought the car used so can't be totally sure of it's history, but there's no sign of previous front end damage.

So I'm looking to see if the wear issue is fixable, given the alignment looks ok it's maybe camber? Again if anyone has the toe and camber numbers.

Sounds like you need 4 wheel alignment, tracking may be correct but not adjusted correctly, check the threads visible on o/s to track rod end and the same on n/s, should be the same, if more threads on one side than the other will cause the wear you are experiencing.
By the way camber does not cause tyre wear. If anyone thinks I am wrong please correct me.
I will get the relevant info you need in the a.m. and let you know, be good if you check threads first and provide info though.
good luck

I have had this problem on my doblo for about 5 years now and every time i have new tyres the garage says the tracking is out,but for about the last ,2 years i have noticed a crash from the front end especially when driving over cats eyes so there must be some movement somewhere on the front suspension but what i find most strange is my van has passed its MOT with no excessive play in any suspension components detected on the test.for the last 2 years no problem, However with the next MOT looming in the coming months I have decided to replace all the suspension components before the next MOT,I am replacing both lower wishbones, both track rod ends and all 4 rubbers on the anti roll bar along with £70 pounds worth of genuine fiat bolts that holds the lot on and I will see where we go from there !

My Cargo when it was 5 @ 25k scuffed front tyres on the inside it turned out to be the near side lower wishbone bushes which had ruptured , it was replaced and tyre ware has evened out across the tread as it was new and still is at 61k and 10years.

I have just had 4 wheel tracking done on my doblo and it was all over the place !

how ever good old fiat do not have any factory settings for the tow in, camber, caster etc !!! the rear end cannot be adjusted at all as its a solid beam on old fashioned leaf springs.
the front toe in is the only thing that can be adjusted !!

I had that adjusted and hopefully I can now get more life from the front tyres.

I think you'll find its a fairly common weak spot you can buy the lwr. wishbone complete with ball joint and the rubber bushes which fail from Euro car parts quite cheaply, as I said since mine was replaced the steering is dead centre and tyre ware even across the tread which is good for a 2 ton front wheel drive wagon with pwr. steering.
