I need to change the headlight unit on my Doblo after it cracked internally while changing a headlamp bulb, I guess it's just become very brittle with age.
While the two bolts are obvious once these are removed the lamp though loose is still held in place.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to remove it, is it like other Fiat models where I will need to remove the bumper or am I just missing some retaining clips that are stopping it coming out fully.

Thanks

Late but, There are two press-stud type fixings at the bottom of the unit. Pull or push the unit forwards, maybe from outer side near wing to free the outer stud first, and watch out for other mouldings on the way out. Unclip the wiring and you're done.

I'll know for next time, if the car outlives it's new lights which I doubt :)

In the end both lenses had deteriorated enough to fail the MOT so I had both changed by the garage.

Word of warning! When removing the units, those studs "could" pull out of the unit and remain in the retaining clip. When you go to put the new one in, and wonder why it won't sit right, that will be why! :p

BTW....you can get excellent replacements on ebay. Just be careful you get the right type if you have the foglight option.

I noted down the numbers on the plastic lens and tried searching those to see if it was possible to obtain them separately. Didn't have any luck though, so it looks like i'll be keeping my eye out for complete units. We did get the lenses polished to get through the MoT, but they have degraded again very quickly.
I tried removing the right hand unit, but after removing the two bolts it still refused to leave the vehicle. Obviously that damned clip has been undisturbed for 20 years and I didn't want to break anything!
