My Doblo 1.9JTD 04 plate decided to snap a mount bolt the other day. It's left a bit far too small to grip to pull out and I can't find anyone with the relevant tool to get it out. (without paying a fortune) Anyway I'm told that if I get the bit that it's stuck in and remove the whole part to replace it, then it might be cheaper. Thing is I can't seem to find what it's called. I've tried various searches all unsuccessful. Now I will try and explain what I am talking about.

As you look down on the engine the snapped bolt is at your right hand side. Apparently it's something attached to or to attach the grear box too. My engine has dropped and is sitting on the subframe.

Sorry if I sound a bit dense but not got much engine knowledge and I will play the age and female card :D If I can find the replacement part I have someone who can remove the old part and replace it and sort everything out.

Just got to pray no other damage been done with the engine dropped.

Hi, it'll be on here, (y)

ePER

google the part number..;)

Thanks for that, I've had a look and unfortunately still can't work out which one it is. The bolt goes into the top of what ever it is and the bolt looks a lot like number 9 on picture 8. But that is called a screw not a bolt. I'm getting more confused by the minute lol. Would put a pic up of the bolt but can't figure out how to

.

FAIRLY easy - when you want to reply;

click "advanced reply", then see a "paperclip" icon ( next to a SMILEY)

click on the paperclip - it'll give you a box of 5 blocks,

click on top block ("choose file") then it'll link to your PC's picture section,

look at YOUR OWN PICS .. when you see the one you want ,

move cursor onto it and "double click " on it = that's 2 x quick clicks on the LEFT mouse button.

a file number should appear in the top box ( instead of choose file)

once it's there - click UPLOAD - from the bottom right of that box.

NEARLY DONE

look back at the "paperclip" next to it is a tiny down arrow,
click on the down arrow

you'll see the link number ( in blue) click that , and it will be input into the text thread of your reply

give it a go..,

if it's doesn't work.., let us know in your reply

Agree with Zeewulf since the motor is now down to subframe... You have to remove the support and bring it to a local workshop where they would be able to extract the broken part, dunno about your exact model, you may just need "E" socket as special tools to remove the support. These are kind of "reversed" (male) torkx... Hope that helps a bit ?

Regards, Bernie.

We have actually managed to fully remove the bolt ourselves as there was just enough sticking out to grip with mole grips. Issue now is we can't find anywhere to supply that part. The Fiat dealer says it's a fixed part of the support, which it obviously isn't as it's removable. I am going nuts with no car and going round in circles trying to get the part.

You are correct that is exactly the part. Now how on earth do I get a replacement?? help!!!

This is the actual piece, and it's that bit sticking out the top that snapped and it's threaded both ends.
