Hi need to narrow down a problem I'm having
With the engine offf I can select any gear no problem
With the engine running its virtually impossible to select first it's stiff going into second and coming down to third at speed results in crunching reverse also crunches occasionally
I've tried pumping pedal but that hasn't helped and there seems excessive play with the clutch pedal
Brake fluid level is fine (I believe this feeds the hydraulic clutch?)
Are there clutch cables? And could it be one of them? Could it be sorted with a new clutch kit? Could It be fingers or splines (whatever they are)
What sort of cost am I looking at and is it something I could do as a non-mechanic?
Also it's a doblo family 1.3 multijet diesel
Thanks for any help and advice

Hi,:) this will give you some pointers,

the panda is the most common fitment of your mechanical set-up on the forum, ;)

Sounds like the clutch isn't clearing, could be poor hydraulic pressure or worn clutch.
You could try bleeding the clutch.
If you do replace the clutch make sure the clutch plate is free to move on the input shaft splines. If it doesn't move free on the splines it will cause clutch drag which also can cause poor gear selection.
