Hello All.

Due to a medical condition I have the need to convert a smallish family car to be equipped with a portable toilet.

I have looked at a few ideas and keep coming back to the doblo high top as a suitable project. The idea will be encasing the boot with a privacy booth with access from the rear by removing the single seat from the back.

As there are not any of these in my area to measure I wonder if someone would mind helping me by taking measurements of the boot space (with the rear seats in the position they would be for normal operation).

I would need the height of the boot area along with the narrowest width and also the depth which I guess would be to the back of the headrest because they are furthest point back if that makes sense.

Many thanks in advance

I sold mine so can't help you with measurements.
Couple of things, the passenger version has many windows so is not very private. The van type may be better.
The boot floor is also high but I'm sure hole could be cut in it.
Will you need to reach the pedals while on the loo?

Hi,

Height of the boot area: Mostly 1500mm, there's a lower section (about 200m deep) by the rear doors where it measures 1400mm.

Depth: Back of seat (just below headrest) to rear doors measures 780mm.

Width: 1300mm (measured between rear seat belt cover/housings), 1200mm between wheel arches at floor level.

This is for the 2006 model.

Cheers

Ron
