Well it finally happened, took posession of our 3rd Doblo on Saturday from Sutton motors Coventry. I need a little help and info.
Stop start worked yesterday and doesn't today, don't think I've done anything wrong, I know some will say why worry but it is brand new.
After picking it up on Sat all the tyre pressures were all wrong and it took all week end to sort and seems ok this AM. I'm not used to TPMS, any pointers?
Still finding getting into the display menu impenetrable, can't find up/down buttons unless there the ones on the steering wheel in which case they don't seem to do anything. In addition to this the handbook is a very hard read and inaccurate in places which doesn't help.
Despite the above pleased overall with the car and I'm quite prepared to accept issues may be due to my unfamillerarity/stupidity.
Can't upload pic as we have tech issues but you know what they look like and it is Flamenco red.

A glutton for punishment then!!

Tyre pressures, set them up, start up, then press the button. Go for a drive.
Forget about it until it alarms!
TPMS works on the ABS system and the difference in revolutions between wheels. If you do get a puncture, you'll find that the TPMS won't alarm until the pressure has dropped 10 - 15psi or more (enough to affect the "rolling radius" or circumference of the tyre)

Menu:

The up/down buttons are the ones used for headlight up/down - the ones either side of the SET button. You'll find that various options won't be shown with the engine off, you'll get very few options if you're moving. It can be a bit of a lottery to find which ones will work when!

Stop/Start is a lottery at the best of times, it is dependant on engine and air temperatures, battery voltage, Air Con, a timer and a small but effective random number generator that throws a spanner into the works when it wants to (just joking about the last one :) ) When mine does work, I switch it off!

If you get fed up with the original sound system and go aftermarket, the Stop/Start will also knock the power off to the radio too, unless you modify the radio supply wiring (but then it doesn't switch off when you remove the ignition key......)

Wow Mike great info!! Incidentally I had to have my radio re-wired on my previous Dobbie as it didn't work with the engine off, not great if your parked up somewhere and bored!!

Forgot, the up down buttons I refer to are on the steering wheel, I've clocked the headlight ones :)

So, am I right in thinking that using the up/down buttons to scroll the menu disables the setting of the headlamp beam? Can't find any mention of it

in the handbook. :-/

IIRC, if you press SET with the lights on, you can use the up/down without moving the lights. You'll find that there are very few options available when you're driving, so it's not really an issue. Most things are available with just ignition on. Some will NEED the engine running to be shown. I can't remember which ones, and I'm about 700 miles from my car at the moment, so I can't nip out and have a look.

I wired my radio so that it goes off with the ignition, but then put an extra wire and a switch so that if I was stopped anywhere, I could use it - of course there is no "Accessory" position on the ignition key.

I found the up down thing confusing on mine at first as you think it means the ones on the steering wheel when its actually the buttons on the centre on the dash. You do get more options when stationary.

Start stop is somewhat random particularly when its really cold or really hot so I work on the basis that sometimes it works and .........sometimes it doesn't. :D Don't forget that there is a button to switch it off which on my 2011 one is down by the gearstick beside the button that switches off the stability control.
