I knocked my Doblo interior rear view mirror off when cleaning the front window. What is the best way to reattach it? I was quite surprised that there is no sign of any adhesive left on the window or the mirror as both are so smooth and clean.
I have had plenty of advice on using various glues etc. but would like to hear the CORRECT way to do it. Cheers.

Either a 2-sided pad (ask a motor factor) or 2 pack epoxy. Clean the glass first with nail varnish remover (acetone). If there's anything of the old 2-sided pad left on the mirror arm, clean that with acetone, and apply 2-pack to that - then if it needs to come off (eg you need a new windscreen) the 2 sided pad will come away from the mirror arm.

Think I will try the 2-sided pad first and see how that goes. Thanks for your quick reply Sinny cheers
