Hello. I'm new to this forum so hope I'm asking this question in the right place. I recently bought myself a Doblo Maxi 1.6 14 plate van at a bargain price. The seller told me that it has a factory fit alarm, which it doesn't, a factory fit immobiliser, which I'm not sure if it has, and also that on 2 presses of the lock button it locks the van and then deadlocks the locks. I tried this out and it doesn't deadlock the doors.
Does anyone know if its meant to and if so what the problem could be?
Other than that, great van.
Many thank.
Matt

doblo's have a engine immobiliser, they dont have deadlocks as standard or a factoy fit alarm, they are options, only on sx models remote central locking

lock the van with the windows open and try opening the door through the window if it opens you dont have deadlocks,

also if you have deadlocks the van automatically locks all the doors around 30 seconds from driving off

Thanks.
It does lock the doors when I drive off.
I've done that, locked the doors with the windows down, then unlocked it!
In the manual it sais it deadlocks?
Will have to take it to nearest Fiat dealership as defo wanted deadlocks as to much money worth of tools in the back.
Thanks for your reply.

Well, mine is older than yours, I had problems with locking and cleaned the contacts in the back sliding doors and that helped...it seems OK now.
If I locked it with the key the locking bounced back 6 times and on the seventh it locked.
Try locking it with the key in the door 7 times slowly.
