Hi Doblo Doris here, just joined and hope to get some good advice from here. I am in the Grantham area so any one with a Doblo in the area? Have just purchased a Doblo 1400 petrol camper conversion. Good conversion and i am surprised how versatile the little 1400 engine is.

Unfortunately rear brake light has blown and helpful Halfords have told me they cannot change the bulb as they need to take panels etc off just to release the rear lense.

They may be right but handbook only instructs to remove the two external (behind the rear door) screws out. Unfortunately something still preventing removing the lens.

Also will 16 inch wheels of a Doblo fit straight on to replace the 15 inch standard ones.

Thanks in anticipation Doris!

Welcome

What year is your Doblo?

If it is 2010 or later model, then there are only the screws visible as you lift the tailgate holding the light unit in. There is a foam gasket between the light unit and body, which does tend to stick, so you may need a bit of GENTLE persuasion to get them apart - nothing else holds it.

Early Doblo wheels will not fit later Doblo's. Early ones used 4 studs to hold the wheel, later ones used 5. Any reason for changing to the 16" wheels?? Or have you got a cheap supply of alloy wheels!

hi mike, its a 57 reg and it was a mobility vehicle. its twin rear doors and a hi top.

Saw some nice alloys on fleabay so was just wondering about compatability. Will pimp it some other time perhaps. Thanks for the reply.
