just had a new clutch fitted on my 2004 fiat doblo 1.9 jtd but haveing slight crunching in 2nd and 3rd but rest of the gears are fine is this a gearbox issue or clutch need to bed in . or is it that ive had the van a week and not got used to the gear change

I'll hazard a guess and say it could be the gear linkage cables need adjusting after being disconnected during the previous work.

If it works smoothly when the engines off 9 times out of ten it will be the clutch. Respect to Dr. No but popping the gearbox connections of their balljoints to take out the box *shouldn't* change anything...

Did they replace the slave cylinder? They're a moo to bleed properly...

slave cylinder wasnt changed . clutch that came out was well and truely knackered was wondering if someone had been adjusting cables to compisate for the total lack of a clutch
