My van (JTD cargo) seems to be so reliable (touch wood...) I keep finding little things to moan about it.
The current one is at motorway speeds hovering between 65 and 70 I sometimes find an audible humming noise - It reminds me of the noise a slightly out of shape tyre might make - However it is not consistent, and is fairly often not heard at all.
Nearside wheel bearing was done recently, so I know the noise of that. Cornering doesn't appear to affect this noise. I am thinking tyres but wondered what mechanically might do it? I get no noise at town speeds, which is another reason I think tyres as only really happens above 60mph.
