Hi everyone I'm new to this site so please if I am doing something wrong please let me know, anyway I have a 2004 fiat doblo cargo 1.9jtd and it's starting to play up, I love my little work horse but she's stressing me out lol, the problem is, I will becdriving along fine, then all of a sudden it feels like someone has tapped the brake and I have no power even with my foot down on the accelerater, if I take my foot of the accelerater and put it straight back on it again she goes fine, this problem continues all the time when ever it wants to, some days I have no problems.iv changed the air and fuel filter and I thought that had solved it as it did not debit at all for a week but now the same problem is back, and there's no lights coming up on the dash.

My clogged up EGR valve caused those symptoms on my 1.9 multi jet, it cost me £130 for the valve, a box or rubber gloves and a tin of carb cleaner. It's mounted to the top right rear of the engine a bit fiddly but doable very mucky when cleaning out the gunge of the head port.
