HI folks, im a bit stuck with my air filter 1.9 jtd 04, ive been doing few bits of servicing myself, when I tried to get the old air filter off only one bolt would come out of the 3,(rusted and been in many years I suspect) I have done more than 12 k since I bought it and it will need changing, my usual mechanic said he couldnt shift them either but could drill them out, anybody ever done this?, be very grateful for any help. Neil.

Hi
I had the same trouble on my Sedici. I spayed them with WD40 and left over night so as to penetrate in then used a impact driver on the screws. Had to use new screws after but at least they came out. Might work for you as well.
Stephen.

Thanks for your reply Stephen only thing is they are really badly rusted and turned, I think the onky option is drilling, access is bloody awful too!, which doesn't help. Best wishes. Neil.

Anbody drilled these out on a doblo?, be grateful for any help/advice. Neil.

Arn't they into plastic ? Did not think there were metal inserts.
3 in top & lid comes off

Hi 500e, thanks for your interest, no they're small metal bolts I managed to get one out but the others are so rusted/turned ill have to drill them, my mechanic suggested that aswell as he couldnt get them out. Tbh its amazed me no other jtd doblies haven't had the same prob on here.

Ours have 3 hex headed bolts 7mm socket use hex not multipoint ours are on 07 plate

Any body have a list of air filter part numbers that fit Doblo 1.9 jtd (2005)?
I've been sent a Crossland filter by Euro car parts that's just too long & I can't screw the top back on the air box!
Thanks.
