Hi, there are posts on here regarding this same issue but not the same problem and hopefully someone will be able to help.
My drivers side window kept tilting and falling out of the groove. I know this is a common fault apparently. My window did this the other day and I went over a small bump and it shattered. I had the window replaced and the man said that the mechanism had twisted, which he sorted out. He then put the window in and it still kept tilting forward. We then found the culprit. It was the rail the top plastic guide thing sits in/slides on, had broken. I now have a related window but need this spare part so the man can install it.
Does anyone know what this track, rail, guide is called or have a part number. Its black plastic, about 5mm wide and probably approx 50-60cm long. It sits on the side of the door and its what the white plastic thing attached to the glass slides up and down on.
Please help as I do not want the same thing to happen to the window again.
Any help really appreciated.
Thanks
Les
