Hi! i have noticed also that revs are dropping slowly when letting throttle pedal,has anybody also such problem,or any idea what to check? It has Lucas pump,and i dont know does it have normal cable,or is electronically powered..

The Lucas pump is possibly the worst ever. To combat it's weaknesses a dose of bog standard two stroke in a quarter tank of diesel helps (125ml) Otherwise use the best more expensive diesel. If it needs replaced then you are talking a lot of expense.
I have a great mechanic who keeps my 2001 1.9D on the road as I need it for a speedway bike transporter. It will come the time when it will have to go but at the moment it runs like clockwork. I have to say it is probably the best running 2001 1.9D on the planet. Please let me know if you have any more questions on your 1.9D.

Yes,i have heard about this problem,must say.know Lucas pump from other cars,they didnt built the best pumps in the world,thats for sure.. On the other hand,it is not problem to change this system on normal mechanical pump from other cars,only it needs to be done to connect wires for shutting the engine,but for a electrician is not problem at all.

I have buy this Doblo cheap,thats why i dont ask much questions why this,why that,i just want to fix it for dont know,daily use in bad weather or for work.

JTD engine is always way better option,if i have waited for few days more,for 800 euros i could buy such Doblo with serious engine problem,but already,this normal diesel was in the garage.
