my doblo cargo 1.9 multijet had the engine management light come on the other day. feels as no turbo boost. the light is no longer on but still feels as if no turbo, lack of torque of the mark etc.
suggestions welcome.
thanks Gary.

Hi Gary, and welcome, :)

IF it's a turbo related issue, a scan of the fault codes will help eliminate some of the options..;)

you MAY find just clearing a code will restore something - even temporarily:eek:

engine code readers are pretty cheap, (£15)
BUT MultiECUScan will give a more accurate listing of a FIAT codes relevance:)

thanks for the reply, i think my wifes cousin has a reader so i will ask him to read the fault code.
Many thanks Gary.

forgot to say, i dont know only had the van approx 2 months. it is a 2006 model with 1.9 multijet it is euro4 so i suppose it has.

EGR valve blocked maybe?
Mine is an older 1.9JTD and first thing in the morning it would struggle to go up a reasonable incline. Definitely 1st gear until the turbo kicked in at the 2k RPM. In amongst other things, I've got my EGR valve apart at it was solid again.

just like to say thanks to all. it was the EGR valve clogged with soot. i just cleared it out refitted and all seems fine.
Many thanks Gary.
