The mount for drivers side check strap on the door is broken. Ie, only has one threaded hole and all mangled.

Is this mounting part of the door or available as a separate part?

Have a look through ePER.
Go to the top of the page and you'll find the ePER tab in the blue tool bar.

I did look on that, thanks.

However I couldn't see anything inside the door so I'm assuming its fixed to the door and not separate. I may pop into Fiat to see if they can confirm.

The mounting point is part of the door.

Trying to find someone who will weld a plate in is proving tricky!

I thought I needed a new check strap, turns out that the mount on mine is broken.
not an easy job to weld either - ALL the electrics are bundled together & firmly fixed all the way down the inside of the door, right up against where this plate is.
