HI,dont know if you've sorted it yet,but this place aint as helpful as it used to be ;o( .anyway back to it..check the earth lead from the battery to the gearbox,as these rot through and cause all sorts of misery. may of helpt may have not.but good luck Richie
So my reply about belt & earth strap was not helpful?!
That's fine.
I don't need nonsense like this when I give my time freely..
Sometimes, when you are hundreds of miles away and not able to see the problem, and when someone's rattle is someone elses clatter, it is really difficult to diagnose a problem.
Then you come along and **** all over what I already said!!!

Jesus fella,u need chillax!! didn't read loads into the post just tryd help him,my gearbox is goosed and aint had that many replys,hence "not as helpful as it used to be" meant nowt towards you chap.
