I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first Doblo, the 1.9 Multijet 105 Active (2006). I need ladders for my work, can anyone suggest anything for me before I start trawling the world wide web ?

With the fixings in the roof you can make up what you want

yes good roof fixings it has to be said, i ended up getting the aiko two bar system. looks very good and strong.

one issue though, i need to raise it a bit and they advise against it, i only need a spacer of about half an inch would make a good difference for me.

its just that when my tailgate is raised, it will not go up to near full. if the roof rack is raised ever so slightly it would be a fair help to me

We fabricated racks & had same problem with clearance due to things we carry, raised cross beams by 50mm no problem the feet are circular 30mm to spread load & stop loading on bolts.

500e, you woudn't happen to have a picture you could put up here of that setup ?

and now just when i think about it (i have an LS set from aiko-design), i don't necessarily have to raise by using a spacer at the feet, i can raise it at the ends of the cross beams, maybe 20mm, this might be sufficient, I'll play about with this tonight.
